An Inklings Conference: The Quest for Beauty, Truth, & Joy

Experience a weekend of film, seminars, and fellowship inspired by the lives and works of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and the Inklings at The King's Chapel third Inklings Conference. This year we will focus on the quest for beauty, truth, & joy.

Melanie will be hosting two different seminars that patrons can choose from during the conference.

Seminar Topic #1: Inklings 101

Just who were the Inklings and why are they important? This seminar is an introduction to the men and works of arguably the most influential literary gathering of the 20th century and will explore how they encouraged one another in their quest for Beauty, Truth, and Joy.

Seminar Topic #2:  The Life and Legacy of J.R.R. Tolkien

This seminar will focus on Tolkien’s life and the people and experiences that inspired the stories of Middle-earth, the most beloved literary “sub-creation” of the 20th century.
